Modern couples love to reinvent old traditions and make them their own. The first look is one that I personally love. It use to be the tradition to not see your spouse before the ceremony on your wedding day, it is said to be bad luck. I think the only thing that is bad luck is not doing things the way you want to do them. There is so much going on while you are walking down the aisle and there are so many sets of eyes on you, it's hard to truly connect with and enjoy seeing your partner in this moment. The first look is a perfect solution, it's an intimate moment you can spend focused on your partner, absorbing them fully. It's great and I encourage every couple to do it if they can.
Now there is something else bride's are opting to do before the ceremony and it will seriously tug at your heartstrings, a first look with the father of the bride. It is amazing. Your father is such a huge part of your life, he watched you grow from a little squish into the beautiful woman you are today. He is about to give you away and the time you spend walking down the aisle is so brief, it just isn't enough. The first look is a beautiful memory that you and your father can share for the rest of your lives.

This moment is so emotional and beautiful and they will have this memory to look back on for year to come.
