 From in your belly to in your arms, creating and raising a child is such a remarkable processes. Everything about life changes as you prepare to bring a baby into the world. As a woman, your body and mind change dramatically and in the most amazing ways possible. 

You will forever be connected to your child, even after they have left your womb and entered the world. Your bond with them will be unlike anything else.

I am so incredibly fortunate to have the privilege of being a small part of people's journey into parenthood. I am constantly amazed by the strength and love I get to witness and be a part of. Being a maternity and newborn photographer is truly a gift and it is one that I am thankful for every day. I haven't published a blog post in a while....like a real long while. Adjusting to life with a baby is hard and carving out time for work can be difficult. We managed to kept our little man alive for a whole year and we have finally settled into a routine and I have time to blog again! With my little man's first birthday having just passed, I thought that posting about his party would be perfect!

Parker is ONE happy camper! We held a camping themed birthday party for Parker at Lewisville Park in Battle Ground, WA. You're child only turns one once and I definitely went all out. I dedicated a lot of time to creating my vision and it turned out so well. I am still in awe that he is a year old already, nothing will ever prepare you for how fast time goes by when you have children but it was so magical to be surrounded by all of our friends and family to celebrate such an amazing milestone in our son's life.

The center pieces took forever but they were so worth it, they turned out great

My mother in law has a cricket which I took full advantage of to make these awesome cupcake toppers

We gave headlamps and flash lights as favors, because adventure awaits!
