I had the pleasure this last month of photographing Tavy and Oseas's traditional Cambodian wedding. The wedding took place at a private residence just outside of Kent, Washington. This was my first experience photographing a Cambodian wedding and it was amazing! Unlike the short, simple, Western weddings most of us are familiar with, Cambodian weddings take several hours or even several days. They are made up of multiple different ceremonies that all have their own significance. Cambodian weddings are also very interactive, they require a lot of guest involvement. Tavy and Oseas are one of the sweetest couples I have had the pleasure of photographing. There is no doubt that these two are truly meant for one another. Their shared love of food and goofy attitudes are enough to make your heart melt.
Congratulation Tavy and Oseas, I wish you two a lifetime full of smiles and good food!
